Ranger Fault and
Meter Log Reference
D.1
Introduction
For the Ranger transmitter, all data in the transmitter is either displayed via the 1/4 VGA
GUI, lights an LED or is sent to the parallel remote control ports. Some of the fault
reporting is done in the form of highlighting a button red, such as most summary faults,
but this fault will not usually show in a fault log on the transmitter GUI. However, when
the data is sent out a serial port to a device such as the eCDi™ the only way to represent
a fault is through a name. The same issue applies to Metering data. Therefore, this
section is divided into 2 parts:

Fault Log Reference
•
Metering Log Reference
The Fault Log Reference is a single table that list all of the faults that can be reported
and logged on the eCDi™ for a Ranger transmitter.
