eCDi ™
3.3
Web Browser Interface
The eCDi™ is basically a web server that extracts information from the transmitter and
exciters to which it is connected, organizes the information and serves it out to any
computer that has network access to the unit. The web browser control and monitoring
interface is designed to be intuitive and easy to navigate. It provides a common look and
feel interface for all supported Harris transmitters. This is accomplished through the use
of the 5 common diagnostic areas:

b.
Power Amplifier
c.
Output
d.
Power Supplies
e.
System/Control
All transmitters contain these 5 main areas and all control and monitoring can be
categorized under one or more of them. Figure 3-2 shows an example of a main menu
screen. The example here is for a SigmaCD (IOT) UHF DTV transmitter.
