6.1.4 Playing Back by Event Search
Play back record files on one or several channels searched by <Event Type> (e.g., <Alarm Input>,
<Motion Detection> and <VCA>).
Steps:
1.
Enter the <Playback> interface: Menu>Playback
2.
Select the <Event> in the drop-down list on the top-left side.
3.
Select the <Stream> to <Main Stream> or <Sub-stream> (for GD-RN-AP8616P, GD-RN-AP8632P, GD-
RN-AT8864N and GD-RN-AT819128N only).
4.
Select the <Major Type> to <Alarm Input>, <Motion>, <POS> (if available) or <VCA> as the <Event
Type>.
Note:
We take <Playback by VCA> as the example in the following instructions.

Select the <Minor Type> of VCA from the drop-down list. (Please refer to Chapter 9 VCA Alarm for
the details of <VCA Detection> types).
Note:

6.
Select the camera(s) for searching, and set the <Start Time> and <End Time>.
7.
Click the <Search> button to get the search result information. You may refer to the right-side bar
for the result.
Note:
For the <POS Event Type> (supported by GD-RN-AP8616P, GD-RN-AP8632P and GD-RN-AT8864N only)
you can enter the <Keyword> and enable the <Case Sensitivity> (upper case and lower case) to search
the video files with the keyword-contained <POS> information.
