Select the <OK> button to start the initialization.

After the HDD has been initialized, the status of the HDD will change from
Uninitialized

Normal
.

Note:
Initializing the HDD will erase all data on it.
14.2 Managing the Network HDD
You can add the allocated <NAS> or disk of <IP SAN> to the NVR and use it as a <Network HDD>. Up to
8 network disks can be added.
Steps:
1.
Enter the <HDD Information> interface: Menu > HDD>General

Click the <Add> button to enter the <Add NetHDD> interface.
