4.9.1 Digital Input Names
The Digital Input Names screen is accessed from the
“Tagnames” menu and allows the OEM to edit the names
of the digital inputs. These names will be displayed in the runtime application under the Digital IO Monitor
screens and used as the alarm description on the Alarm Monitor screen if the input is configured as an alarm
input. To change the name of a digital input, select the input row from the list and enter the desired text up to
9 characters.
4.9.2 Digital Output Names
The Digital Output Names screen is accessed from the
“Tagnames” menu and allows the OEM to edit the
names of the digital outputs. These names will be displayed in the runtime application under the Digital IO
Monitor screens. This allows each output to be identified by the function it performs for the end user. To change
the name of a digital output, select the output row from the list and enter the desired text up to 9 characters.
4.9.3 System Event Names
The Event Names screen accessed from the
“Tagnames” menu and allows the OEM to edit the system event
names. These names will be displayed in the runtime application under the Event Control and program entry
step Events screens. This allows each event to be identified by the function it performs for the end user. To
change the name of an event, select the event row from the list and enter the desired text up to 9 characters.
