Connecting to the MCT Process Monitor Modules for more information on the proper DIP switch
settings pertaining to the type of monitor card used.
The card type drop-down menu
is used to select the type of monitor module connected to the MCT. Available
selections are Not Used, Analog, RTD and Thermocouple.
The input type drop-down menu is shown only for RTD and Thermocouple type monitor input modules. This
field is used to select from one of the available sensor types that are supported by the input module. The analog
input modules have fixed voltage or current input ranges. The available RTD and Thermocouple input ranges
are provided in the following tables.

The
Line Frequency Compensation field is shown if one or both monitor input cards are configured for use.
It is used to set the filtering circuit in the monitor input modules. The field has an adjustable range from 50 to
60 corresponding to typical 50Hz and 60Hz power sources.
4.4 Event Setup
The
“Event Setup” screen allows the OEM to assign specific digital outputs to each system event. Outputs can
be assigned to one or more events as required based on the application.
