When the screen is first displayed, each event will be checked to determine which outputs are assigned. This
process can be cancelled at any time as it can take upwards of 30 seconds if all 32 possible events are enabled.
Once complete, the second line of each event row will display the outputs (by name) configured to it. To alter
output assignments, touch the desired event row in the list to select it. The
“System Event Output Configuration”
screen will then be shown.
Select each output that is to be assigned to the event from the list and press the
“Done” button to assign the
outputs to the event and return to the Event Setup screen.
NOTE:
Each digital output can be assigned to more than one event. This allows different events to control
the same output or combination of outputs in order to perform various tasks as required by the
application.
4.5 Defrost Setup
The
‘Defrost Setup’ screen is accessed from the ‘Options’ menu and allows the OEM to configure the type of
defrost mode to use (if any) and what outputs are to be associated with defrost operation. While the MCT
defrost function is primarily intended for refrigeration system use, it can also be used as a general timer function
to perform repetitive actions based on an interval time or in conjunction with a specific loop value. It does not
have to be used in conjunction with a refrigeration system.
NOTE:
If redundant operation is not enabled on the Redundancy Setup screen, only one set of defeat and
enable entry fields will be provided. When redundant operation is enabled, separate defeat and
enable entries are provided for system 1 and system 2.
