Monitor Card Configuration
In order for the MCT to properly interface with the optional monitor input modules, the MCT must be given the
proper configuration settings for the type of monitor input modules used. These settings are accessed by
pressing the
“Monitor Card Configuration” button on the Monitor Setup screen.
IMPORTANT: The monitor input modules must be assigned the proper communications address or the MCT
will not be able to communicate with them. In addition, if an address of a monitor module is
improperly assigned to an address that corresponds to one of the loop controllers or the other
monitor module, it will cause a failure in the communications to the loop controller or monitor
module of the same address.
The first monitor input module (card 1) must be assigned to address 16. If the second monitor module is used
(card 2), it must be assigned an address of 17. This is done via the DIP switches located on the front of the
monitor module. See section 0
