7.7 SIGNALLING AND DISPLAYING MALFUNCTIONS AND BREAKDOWNS.
The electronic control of the oven displays any malfunctions and breakdowns using the following messages.
Message
THERM. PROT. MOT. 1 or 2 (signalled on the third line of the display, the oven stops, it is in “stand-by position“)
Diagnosis
Intervention of the thermal protection of the motor..
Defect
Overheating of the motor.
User behaviour
Switch the oven off, check there aren’t any obstacles on the motor rotation, if any remove them.
Check that the slits located in the back and on the bottom of the oven for the air circulation around the motor, have not been
obstructed.
In case the malfunction does not disappear after 60’, or happens again, call the technical Service.
Remarks for the
technical service
Check the motor shaft rotates in the correct way, without any frictions and that the bearings are efficient.
Verify that the stainless steel fan has no deformation and that its rotation is well balanced.
Check the gasket, which is situated in the back of the cooking chamber near the motor shaft is tight.
Do the electric check of the motor to find out eventual defects.

Diagnosis
Intervention of the cooking chamber safety thermostat
Defect
The cooking chamber reaches too high values of temperature
User behaviour
Turn the oven off, check there aren’t any obstacles on the motor rotation, if any remove them.
It’s possible to use the oven only with steam mode.
Call the technical Service.
Remarks for the
technical Service
Check the stainless steel fan inside the cooking chamber is perfectly clean and without any frictions.
Check the RPM of the motors are correct.
Clean carefully the sensors of the thermostat, that controls the cooking chamber temperature.
Verify there is a correspondence between the temperature on the control panel and that one in the cooking chamber..
Reset the safety thermostat, pushing the apposite push button or replace it.
Message
BOIL.THERM.PROT (it’s flashing on the display)
Diagnosis
Intervention of the safety thermostat of the boiler
Defect
The boiler reaches too high values of temperature.
User behaviour
Select the boiler descailing cycle (program n°97)
You can continue to use the oven only with convection mode.
In case the message does not disappear, call the technical Service.
Remarks for the
technical Service
Check and clean carefully the water level probes from incrustations.
Check the functioning of the water inlet solenoid valve, check its filter and that one located upstream are not obstructed.
Check the discharge valve of the boiler is water tight.
Reset the safety thermostat, pushing the apposite push button or replace it.
Message

Diagnosis
The cooking chamber temperature probe is defective.
Defect
The values of temperature in the cooking chamber are wrong.
User Behaviour
You can continue to use the oven keeping in mind that the temperature on the control panel is not the same as that one in the
cooking chamber
Call the technical Service.
Remarks for the
technical Service
Replace the cooking chamber temperature probe.
Message
CORE PROBE (it’s flashing on the display)
Diagnosis
The temperature core probe is defective.
Defect
The values for the core temperature are wrong
User behaviour
It’s possible to keep on using the oven, avoiding to select the core temperature probe.
Call the technical Service.
Remarks for the
technicl Service
Replace the core temperature probe.
Message
PROBE MIN. L.H20 (it’s flashing on the display)
Diagnosis
The water minimum level probe of the boiler is defective
Defect
Malfunction of the boiler.
User behaviour
Select the boiler descailing cycle (program n°97)
It’s possible to keep on using the oven only with convection mode.
In case the malfunction does not disappear, call the technical Service
Remarks for the
technical Service
Check and clean very carefully the minimum water level probe from incrustations.
Replace the probe.
Message
H.TEMP.ELECT.CARD (it’s flashing on the display)
Diagnosis
Too high temperature on the control panel.
Defect
Insufficient air circulation in side the control panel.
User behaviour
Turn the oven off for about 60’, then turn it on again, if the problem persists turn the oven off and wait
You can use the oven only with convection mode at a max. Temperature of 150°C.
Call the technical Service.
Remarks for the
technical Service
Check the correct functioning of the cooling fans inside the control panel.
Check also that the slits for cooling air are not obstructed.
Message
T.OUT BOIL.HEAT. (it’s flashing on the display)
Diagnosis
Too much time to heat the boiler.
Defect
The steam generation is not working correctly.
User behaviour
You can keep on using the oven only with convection mode
Call the technical Service.
Remarks for
technical Service
Check the functioning of the boiler heating system.
Check the correct value of intervention of the boiler pressure switch.
