Adapt to Cisco PPP
peers
Try the Adapt to Cisco PPP peers option, if a Cisco router is
used at the remote location and problems arise in the
transmission of voice data.
Authentication
•
Outbound: Combination of user name and password
stored at the distant end for connection
authentication.
•
Inbound: This option is required only if the switch
"Allow inbound connections" has been set. The
authentication of the distant end is preset, in order for
the connection request to be accepted.
Always keep Routes
active
To force connections to a private network over this interface
the routes to be kept active in routing table even if the
interface is down.
IP Routes
Further required IP routes for the newly established
connection.

possible to shut down the connections manually and re-establish them.
