8.8.1.10 Changing the Solder Reel
The solder reel can be replaced during the production. The solder roll is freely accessible
by opening the metal plate cover. Should the solder reel not be completely used up yet, the
solder transport motor can be started by pressing the green button.
The old roll is removed and the new one is inserted. Push the solder wire (Ø 6 mm) as
much as possible into the guide tube. By pressing the green button again and, if required,
pushing the solder wire some more, you can ensure that the solder wire is captured by the
solder transport motor.

8.9 Nitrogen
8.9.1 Oxygen Analyzer
The working, operation and maintenance of the oxygen analyzer are described in detail in
the separate manual accompanying the machine.
8.9.2 Setting the Nitrogen Valves
1st valve
Stand-by valve, flow according to desired ppm O
2
-value about 3-5 m³/h display on flow me-
ter: 30%. This inflow of gas cools the hollow wave pump motor and the pyrometer.
2nd valve
This valve is activated when the residual oxygen value exceeds the 1st alarm value. The
valve is opened wide enough that the flow increases to 75% (valve 1 and 2 together). This
gas inflow cools the full wave pump motor.
3rd valve
Is activated when the 2nd alarm value is reached and allows the maximum flow.
NOTE
If one or more valves are blocked because of dirtying, they must be dismantled with the
socket head wrench from the tool set of the soldering machine, cleaned and mounted
again. The valves can be activated manually by pressing the red knob.
