10.2
Environmental Protection Instructions
Waste must be recycled or disposed of without the health of humans being endangered
and without the use of procedures or methods that can harm the environment, in particular,
without:
•
water, air, the ground and the animal and plant life being endangered
•
noise or odor pollution being caused
•
the environment or the countryside getting polluted
10.3
Materials
10.3.1 Specifications
CAUTION
Persons with allergies against flux or solder must avoid directly touching these
substances.
10.3.1.1 Sorting
The sorting is done after dismantling the plant into waste groups according to the index of
the current European Waste Catalogue (EWC). This catalogue holds good for all waste,
regardless of whether it is intended for disposal or for recycling.
10.3.1.2 Waste Management
The waste management should be carried out according to the governmental waste
management plans, which must be procured; these consist of, in particular, the following:
•
type, quantity and source of the waste to be disposed of or recycled
•
general technical specifications
•
special measures to be taken for particular waste
•
suitable areas for dumps and other disposal plants
The following may e.g. be specified in these plans:
•
natural or judicial persons authorized to carry out waste management
•
the estimated costs of the recycling and disposal
•
measures for promoting the rationalization, collection, sorting and handling of waste
