9.2
Transport
The transportation from the factory is carried out on a customer-specific basis and must be
agreed upon with the supplier.
9.2.1
Transport Units
Preferably, the soldering machine is shipped by motor lorry, installed, unpacked and
assembled with or without solder filling. If required, the soldering machine is dismantled
and/or packed.
CAUTION
The insertion location for the transport stacker depends, among other things, on
whether solder has been filled in or not (depending on the machine type, and the
solder alloy which is between about 380 or 650 kg). The insertion location is marked
at the factory (on the soldering machine or packing). Note this marking, in order to
avoid tilting of the heavy machine and to avoid possible injuries.
9.2.2
Local Transportation of the CIG compact within the Production Plant
The CIG compact automatic soldering machine consists of one element that is relevant for
transporting. The inlet and outlet is bolted to the solder chamber and need not be removed
when transporting. For stabilizing the inlet and outlet tunnel, the machine return line below
the machine must always remain installed. In addition, the transport braces must be
assembled. All the doors of the machine must be closed. The total weight of the machine
with a full solder bath is approx. 1070 or 1320 kg respectively.
