Install the heating rods and the wave for-
mer. Caution: the heating rods must be
placed between the horizontal guide rails.
8.8.1.4 Filling the Machine with Solder
•
Put solder nuggets in the solder container.
•
The nuggets must closely surround the heating elements.
•
Put the machine in simulation operation (chapter 5)
•
Additional heaters must be switched off.
Interrupt the power supply by removing the fuse.
•
Switch on the bath heating.
•
Start the melting process.
•
Caution!!! Never leave the machine unwatched in the melting phase.
•
It is absolutely imperative to ensure that solder always touches the heater. The heaters
must not glow (incandescence)!
•
When the solder has reached the specified set temperature, re-insert the fuses of the
additional heater. First, cut off the electrical energy supply to the system.
•
Switch the machine back from simulation to normal operation. (Chapter 5)
•
Use pumps.
•
If the pumps do not rotate, fill up solder up to 1 cm below the edge of the bath.
•
Move in the solder container.
