Pre-heating

Solder Waves
Soldering is irregular
Solder waves not horizon-

Align the machine horizontally:

Waves dirty
Clean the pressure tank on the right-
hand side
Clean the pressure tank on the left-
hand side
Check the pumps
1st wave (hollow wave)
erratic
Dismantle and clean the hollow
wave cap
2nd wave (full wave) er-
ratic
Clean the full wave plate and run-off
plate or replace them
Pump shaft does not rotate
freely
Clean the pump shaft
Set the adjusting rings
Replace the ball bearings
Driving wheel loose
Fasten the drive wheel
Oxide parts in the solder
container
Scoop out oxide residues
if required, drain the solder and
clean the bath
Excessive solder application
Preheater temperature too
