Connecting a USB Cable

A USB cable is not included with the machine. Prepare an A-B type cable separately.

For Windows, do not insert the other end of the USB cable into the computer until an instruction appears on

the screen during the printer driver installation.

Prepare a USB cable.

Make sure that the machine and the computer are turned off.

Insert the B end of the USB cable into the USB interface connector of the machine.

Do not insert the USB cable into the network interface connector. Doing so may cause a malfunction.

Insert the A end of the USB cable into the USB interface connector of the computer.

For Windows, do not insert the other end of the USB cable into the computer until an instruction appears on

the screen during the printer driver installation.
