The transmission
produces abnormal
sound or knocking
sound.
1. The gear tooth flank is worn excessively or the
tooth flank peels off, or is cracked, or the gear
tooth is broken.
2. The bearing is worn excessively or damaged.
3. The lubricating oil quantity is insufficient or
the quality does not meet requirements
1. Replace the gear with a new one.
2. Replace the bearing
3. Replenish or replace the lubricating
oil.
The gear is shifted
difficultly or cannot be
engaged.
1. The clutch is not disengaged thoroughly.
2. The engagement sleeve, spline shaft gear end
is worn or notched.
1. Adjust the clutch
2. Repair or replace it.
Spontaneous out-of-
gear
1. The locating groove of the fork shaft is worn.
2. The shift fork shaft locking spring becomes
weak or broken.
3. The engagement sleeve spline is worn.
1. Repair or replace it.
2. Replace the locking spring.
3. Replace the sliding gear with
engagement sleeve.

The noise from the main
drive gets louder.
1. A clearance between the driving helical bevel
gear bearings appears.
2. The gear is engaged abnormally.
3. The differential shaft is worn or gets seized.
4. The planetary gear or gasket is worn.
5. The differential bearing is worn or damaged.
1. Adjust the clearance
2. Re-adjust the meshing marks and
clearance; the backlash meets
requirements specified in the
instructions.

over-heated.
1. The bearing is pre-tightened excessively.
