Prior to delivery of the tractor, the steering system is adjusted properly. The user should pay attention to following
matters during operation:
a)
Frequently inspect screw connections, and if the screw connections are loosened, tighten them in time. During
operation of the full hydraulic steering system, the connections cannot have leakage phenomena.
b)
Liquid level of the steering oil tank will be usually checked.
c)
If oil is not enough, oil will be added in accordance with requirements. In the process of utilization, if
discovering hard steering or inflexible steering, reasons shall be carefully figured out (refer to the chapter II of
the manual), the steering wheel cannot be moved with force and cannot be dismantled to prevent from
damaging components. It is prohibited that the steering wheel is turned by two persons simultaneously.
d)
When a full hydraulic steering system is installed, the steering gear should ensure it is in line with the steering
shaft, and an axial clearance exists. After installation, check the steering wheel for flexible return.
e)
Must ensure that the fluid is clean. Therefore, filter element of the filter and oil level shall be usually checked.
Inspection method: Drop a fluid drip to a blotting paper; if the oil stain center is black, it indicates that the fluid
should be replaced.
f)
After the hydraulic oil is replaced with new one, the gas in the oil cylinder should be removed completely. Gas
removal method: Loosen the bolt joint of the steering oil cylinder to enable the oil pump to operate at low
speed for outflowing until the drained oil does not contain foam. Dismantle the connection between the steering
cylinder piston and direction wheel, and turn the steering wheel to enable the piston to move to the left or right
position (it does not stop at both limit positions), and fill oil to the oil tank to the specified highest oil level.
Tighten all threaded connections (which cannot be tightened under pressure) and connect the piston rod. Inspect
whether the steering system operates normally in individual operating conditions.
g)
The constant /overflow pump is a precision part, and usually, no dismantling is allowed; if must be dismantled,
it should be dismantled at a clean place, and cleaned with clean gasoline or kerosene.
Important:
Before delivery, safe overflow pressure of overflow valve of constant current overflow pump has
been adjusted. Don’t dismantle and adjust!
