Danger:
After disconnecting the drive shaft from the PTO output shaft, always screw the cap back on to the output
shaft tightly.
Danger:
Only change the PTO output shaft when the tractor engine is shut off and the key is removed from the
starter switch.
Danger:
During operation of the PTO, access to the PTO or drive shaft by anybody is not allowed.
Warning:
When using the tractor with stationary implements driven by the PTO (e.g. irrigation pump), before
leaving the tractor, make sure that all gear levers are in “neutral”, apply the parking brake fully and place
chocks under the tractor wheels. For further information on safe working procedures, refer to the chapter
“Parking the tractor” in the safety section of this manual.
FL35-70HP Series tractor is equipped with a 2- speed rear PTO (540rpm and 760rpm).
The PTO shaft of FL35-70HP series tractors is an independent type. The tractor is able to carry out working in a
mobile manner or in a fixed manner. The PTO works independently. With the main clutch pedal depressed, the
tractor stops moving, while the PTO shaft can continue running. By setting the PTO control handle to the neutral
position, the PTO shaft stops working and the tractor is able to continue to move forward.
4.9.2.Steps for starting the PTO shaft

Have the implement coupled with the hitch mechanism;

Depress the clutch pedal, and set the PTO control handle to the neutral position;
