System Information and Statistics Commands

show interface ethernet

This command displays detailed statistics for a specific interface or for all CPU traffic based upon the argument.

When you specify a value for

<slot/port>

, the command displays the following information.

Transmit Packet
Errors

The number of outbound packets that could not be transmitted because of errors.

Address Entries
Currently In Use

The total number of Forwarding Database Address Table entries now active on the switch, including
learned and static entries.

VLAN Entries
Currently In Use

The number of VLAN entries presently occupying the VLAN table.

Time Since
Counters Last
Cleared

The elapsed time, in days, hours, minutes, and seconds since the statistics for this switch were last
cleared.
