Retransmitted frames
is the number of frames retransmitted by the LP per second
per sec (*10)
over the five-second reporting interval, multiplied by 10. If the
value is consistently greater than zero and there are no other
problems, you should increase the
T1
timer (
Retransmission
Period
) in the Port record.
Displaying Port Statistics

Pressing
[F2]
will display the next-higher port on the specified LP, or the
lowest port if the highest is already displayed. Pressing
[F4]
will reset the
MAX
(maximum) values to the
CURR
(current) values.
Information in this Display
Received frames
is the number of frames received by the port per second
per sec (*10)
over the five-second reporting interval, multiplied by 10.
Transmitted frames
is the number of frames transmitted by the port per second
per sec (*10)
over the five-second reporting interval, multiplied by 10.
Retran frames
is the number of frames retransmitted by the port per second
per sec (*10)
over the five-second reporting interval, multiplied by 10.
FCS errors/sec (*10)
is the number of Frame Check Sequence (the same as CRC,
or Cyclic Redundancy Check) errors received on the port per
second over the five-second reporting interval, multiplied by
10. A value consistently greater than zero indicates line
problems.
