for both ends of the connection.
Connection Priority
prioritizes this connection for intra-nodal traffic; the higher the number, the higher the
priority. (This priority has no effect on traffic exiting a node.)
A priority is also configured in Node Defaults, as well as for each logical port, SNA
PU, LLC2 host, Bridge Port/LLC2 Interface, IP interface, IPX interface, and SVC
subscriber. The device processor in the node uses these priorities to help determine the
order in which it will process protocols.
When configuring priorities, be careful to consider the types of
traffic being routed on other connections in the node.
Subscriber Name
identifies the subscriber to the console operator. The software does not use this infor-
mation.
Logical Channel
is a logical link between the node and the subscriber.
LP/Port
specifies the LP and port at each end of the PVC.
Packet Size/Window Size
allows setting packet and window sizes for each end of the PVC. Generally the same
packet and window sizes will be configured in the port records at each end, as well as
in the PVC record.
