5.19 RECHARGING THE BOOM ACCUMULATORS
NOTE: Use Extreme Caution when servicing the Hydraulic Accumulators Recharging should be
done by trained personnel only.
Use extreme caution when dealing with hydraulic lines under pressure. Always wear gloves and eye
protection.
The accumulators attached to the hydraulic block must be
removed and recharged with nitrogen before each spraying
season.
Sprayers without wind protection or equipped with Brandt ‘Wind
Cones’ must use accumulators pressurized to
650 psi
.
Sprayers equipped with ‘Wind Screens’ must use accumulators
pressurized to
1500 psi
.

Make sure the booms are in transort position before removing the accumulators.
The accumulators attached to the left and right boom tilt cylinders must be removed and recharged with nitrogen
before each spraying season.
The accumulators must be pressurized to
