The Brandt SB4000 Sprayer is a large Pull-Type
transportable tank with suspended spray booms that
distribute chemicals over a wide area. Chemicals can be
added through the optional small chemical tank at the
side of the machine or directly into the tank through the
top tank lid. The system is pressurized by a hydraulically
powered pump that provides flow for tank agitation and
boom pressure.
The circuit is plumbed into the tank for agitation to keep
the solution mixed. A ball valve to each boom, controls
the flow to the booms and a electric regulating valve
maintains the system pressure. Nozzles, shrouded by

along the booms, distribute the chemical
solution over the field.
A filter in the discharge line next to the pump removes
contaminants from the system. A control box in the cab
displays the chemical circuit pressure, increases or
decreases the pressure, and turns the flow to the booms
on and off.
The booms unfold at right angles to the frame for field
operation and against the machine for transport. The main
tank, pump, valves, and chemical circuit are all mounted
on the pull-type cart.
A Chem Wash tank is located on the front of the frame
and filled with clean water for rinsing contaminated items.
