Problem
Pressure too low.
Hydraulic oil heat buildup.
Possible Causes
Insufficient motor speed on pump.
Oil transfer restriction at hydraulic
couplers.
Suction line restriction.
Agitation flow too high.
Electric regulator valve open.
Hydraulic motor is incompatible with
tractor hydraulic system.
Air has entered suction system.
Improper valve positioning.
Clogged oil filters or dirty oil.
Improper system maintenance.
Oil transfer restriction at hydraulic
couplers.
Lack of adequate cooling or reservoir
capacity in tractor.
Improper system assembly or type of
pump for tractor hydraulic system.
Open centre tractor is being used with
the closed centre configuration in the
block.
Possible Solutions
Adjust motor speed See Section 4.2.
Check that couplers are clean and
in good condition. Replace if
necessary.
Check for kinked suction hose,
leaking suction line hose or fittings,
or clogged strainer.
Check agitators for correct orifice
size.
Operate the switch on remote control
box to close valve.
Check with your dealer for the
pump required to match your tractor.
Open valve at the top of the pump to
bleed off air.
Tank shutoff, pump shutoff, agitation
and throttling valves must be open.
All other valves must be closed.
Replace hydraulic oil and filters at
recommended intervals. Check
hydraulic fluid level.
Keep hydraulic oil at proper level,
clean dirt from system, keep relief
valves adjusted properly and check
for dented or kinked lines.
Check that couplers are clean and in
good condition. Replace if necessary.
Modify or replace tractor oil cooler.
Check hydraulic pump adjustment
See Section 4.2. Check with your
sprayer dealer for the pump required
to match your tractor.
Add the Hydraulic Block Conversion
Kit for open centre tractors.
