6.10 OPERATING THE BOOMS WITHOUT THE ELECTRIC
CONTROL
The boom hydraulics can be operated manually if a problem arises with the electric control. The hydraulics can be
operated by pushing the solenoid’s manual override spool on the hydraulic block, located on the back of the centre
boom frame. Fig. 6.13 shows which particular circuit each solenoid controls. Make sure to follow the unfolding
and folding instructions explained in sections 3.6 and 3.7.
To operate the boom hydraulics manually:
1. Start the tractor and engage the hydraulic lever.
2. Refer to Fig. 6.13 to find the circuit you wish to operate.
3. Using a thin pin, push the spool pin located in the centre the solenoid cap and hold. Be careful not to damage
the solenoid. Release the pin when the booms are in the desired position.
