This command must be run in the Privileged EXEC mode.
The current switch settings relevant to this process can be viewed using the show config-
network command. This command takes no parameters and must be executed in Privileged
EXEC mode.
Enabling Quickconfig
About this task
Use the following procedure to enable Quickconfig
Procedure
1. Enter Privileged mode of the CLI.
2. Enter Configuration mode by entering the
config
command.
3. Use the command
quickconfig enable
to enable Quickconfig.
Terminal setup
Switch terminal settings can be customized to suit the preferences of a switch administrator.
This operation must be performed in CLI.
The terminal command configures terminal settings. These settings are transmit and receive
speeds, terminal length, and terminal width.
The syntax of the terminal command is:
terminal speed {2400 | 4800 | 9600 |
19200 | 38400} length <0-132> width <1-132>
The terminal command is executed in the User EXEC command mode.
