
Configuring and verifying blacklists and whitelists
Use the following procedure to configure, and verify the configuration of blacklists and whitelists
for MAC validation of client devices in a network.
Before you begin
• Ensure that the MAC validation mode on the network-profile is
local-whitelist
. For
more information on configuring the MAC validation mode, see
on page 112.
Procedure
1. Enter the wireless configuration mode of the ACLI.
WCP8180#conf t
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
WCP8180(config)#wireless
2. Verify that the MAC validation mode on the network profile is
local-
whitelist
.
The following example uses a sample network profile with profile Id

b. Verify the MAC validation mode using the following command:
