VIEW Command Line
If you enter
-view
at the Command prompt, VIEW displays prompts on the
command line.
Enter an option [?—List Views/Categorize/Layer
State/Orthographic/Delete/Restore/Save/UCS/Window]:
?—List Views
Lists the named views in the drawing.
Enter view names(s) to list <*>: Enter a wild-card pattern or press ENTER
The list includes the name of each specified view and the space in which
it was defined. M designates model space, and P designates paper space.
Categorize
Specifies a category, such as Elevations or Sections, for the named view.
Named views are displayed by category on the View List tab in the Sheet
Set Manager.
Enter view name to Categorize or [?]: Enter a view name or enter ? to list all
views in the drawing
Enter category name or * for none, or [?] <current>: Enter a view category, enter
* to specify no category, or enter ? to list all view categories in the drawing
Layer State
Saves the current layer visibility settings with the new named view.
Orthographic
Restores the predefined orthographic view you specify to the current
viewport.
Enter an option [Top/Bottom/Front/BAck/Left/Right] <Top>: Enter an option or
press ENTER
