
Patterning Surfaces
After a surface is divided, it can be patterned. Still part of the conceptual design phase of the project, this
phase enables quick preview and editing of patterned surfaces. A collection of patterns are available in the
Type Selector and can be applied onto a selected divided surface.

Patterns are family-based and can be graphically previewed in the Type Selector before being applied.
To pattern a surface

Select a divided surface.

Click Modify Divided Surface tab

Type Selector drop-down, and select the
desired pattern shape.
Note that the divided surface is hidden when a pattern is applied. To display it again, click Modify Divided
