21.2 TDM and Timing

This section describes the configuration of the TDM and clock timing parameters.

Note:

If you are modifying multiple pages, perform a device reset (if required) only

after you have completed modifying all the required pages (and not after each
page). This ensures that your configuration settings are applied.

21.2.1 Configuring TDM Bus Settings

The TDM page allows you to configure the device's Time-Division Multiplexing (TDM) bus
settings. For a description of these parameters, see 'PSTN Parameters' on page



To configure the TDM Bus settings:

1.

Open the TDM page (

Configuration

tab >

VoIP

menu > TDM & Timing submenu >

TDM).

2.

Configure the parameters as required.

3.

Click

Submit

to apply your changes.

4.

Save the changes to flash memory, see 'Saving Configuration' on page

21.2.2 Configuring Digital PCM Settings

The Digital PCM Settings page allows you to configure the PCM companding law in
input/output TDM bus, and PCM and ABCD patterns. For a description of these
parameters, see 'PSTN Parameters' on page



To configure the digital PCM settings:
