IP ping.
If no xDSL or Ethernet connection is
established, ARGUS automatically
connects at this point using the default
profile (see page 44).

Fragmentation
Sets the fragmentation
Default:

Test packets may be fragmented into multiple packets
depending on the network (or router).
off
Fragmentation prohibited, i.e. the test packets may be
rejected by the network (or routers) (ARGUS does not
receive a response packet).
auto
ARGUS determines the maximum packet size of the
path to the destination address (path MTU) and
fragments the test packets so that the packets are
transmitted with minimum delay (no fragmentation by
the network/router necessary).
