Bandplan
The band plan forms the basis for the measurement evaluation. This
determines the assignment and the bandwidth of the upstream and
downstream ranges as well as the PSD mask (max. permissible
transmission power/tone) required for determining the SNR.
Depending on the bandwidth, you can choose from the following band
plans:
- Annex A (ADSLx)
- Annex B (ADSLx)
- 998-M2x-A (VDSL2)
- 998-M2x-B (VDSL2)
- 998ADE17-M2x-A (VDSL2)
- 998ADE17-M2x-B (VDSL2)
- 998ADE30-M2x-NUS0-A (V)
- 998ADE30-M2x-NUS0-M (V)
The band plan you require depends on the bandwidth and on the carrier.
Default:
Annex B (ADSL x)
Impedance
The impedance determines how the line is terminated in the device. Ideally,
the impedance is selected to be equal to the characteristic impedance of
the line.
Possible values are 100
(VDSL2), 120
and 135
.
Default:
135
(typical for ADSL)
Transmit
level
The transmit level specifies the level with which the tones of the spectrum
are sent. The default should be increased only in exceptional cases, as
otherwise there is the risk of interference to adjacent DSL lines.
Default:
0 dBm
