3 TRANSPORT
3.1 Introduction
This chapter describes the transport of the machine. Contact your dealer if you have any ques-
tions.
WARNING
Prevent accidents and transport damage: leave the transport to an experienced
transporter. The transporter is responsible for a safe transport.
NOTICE If the sprayer must be transported when there is frost: use antifreeze in the
clean water tank and spray tank. Let the antifreeze circulate for 2 minutes
through the spray boom.

Upon arrival: check the machine for any transport damage. Immediately report
transport damage to the transporter and your dealer.
3.2 Transport on a trailer
If the machine is not transported to a dealer or to Agrifac: tell the truck driver
how to drive the machine off the trailer.
If the machine is transported to a dealer or to Agrifac: the dealer or an Agrifac
employee must drive the machine off the trailer.
Contact a transporter
Specify the dimensions, weight and destination of the machine so the transporter can:

Select a truck.
•
Determine a route.
•
Apply for a transport permit (if necessary).
•
Provide escort vehicles (if necessary).
Prepare the machine:
1. Check that the clean water tank and the spray tank are empty.
2. Clean the machine with a pressure washer.
3. Remove mud and clay from the tyres.
4. Secure loose parts and close all covers.
5. Check that the left and right spray boom are well supported.
