9 DISPOSAL PHASE
9.1 Introduction
With normal use and proper maintenance the sprayer has a very long service life.
When the sprayer is disposed of after many years, that must be done in a safe
and environmentally responsible manner. Many of the materials used can be re-
cycled.
9.2 Exchange
When the sprayer is disposed of after many years, it can be exchanged by your dealer. He will
then disassemble the various parts safely and dispose of them in an environmentally responsible
manner.
9.3 Disposal procedure
1. Illuminate the work area if necessary.
2. Use a close-fitting overall, safety shoes and safety goggles.
3. Use suitable lifting equipment tested for safety.
4. Do not go below the sprayer until it has been properly supported.
5. Use suitable and well-fitting tools.
6. Rinse the sprayer with clean water.
7. Clean the inside of the spray tank with a pressure washer and drain the water.
8. Clean the induction hopper (option) with a pressure washer.
9. Clean the sprayer with a pressure washer.
10. Release the pressure in the hydraulic system and drain the oil.
11. Drain the fuel.
12. Drain the AdBlue (if applicable).
13. Drain all lubricating oil.
14. Remove the grease from the grease reservoir.
15. Cab air filter. Refer to  115 or  116 . Remove the filter elements. Put the filter elements in a
plastic bag.
16. Disassemble all rubber and plastic parts.
17. Disassemble all electronic parts.
18. Dispose of all oil and grease in accordance with the national legislation.
19. Dispose of all parts in accordance with the national legislation.
