5.12 Control lever - Driving forward and reverse

On the road (ROAD MODE):

Use the control lever to select the driving direction.
The main screen shows the selected driving direction.
Use the accelerator pedal to control the speed.
Release the accelerator pedal to stop the machine.
Use the brake pedal if necessary.

The drive system goes into neutral:

•

When you release the parking brake.

•

When you press the emergency stop button.

Forward:

1.

Press the drive button [1] and push the con-
trol lever forward [2].

2.

Release the drive button [1].

3.

Put the control lever in the centre [3].

4.

Slowly push the accelerator pedal down: the
machine will start to move forward.

5.

Use the accelerator pedal to control the
speed. Release the accelerator pedal to stop
the machine.

6.

Use the brake pedal if necessary.

Reverse:

1.

Press the drive button [1] and pull the control
lever rearward [4].

2.

Release the drive button [1].

3.

Put the control lever in the centre [3].

4.

Slowly push the accelerator pedal down: the
machine will start to move in reverse.

5.

Use the accelerator pedal to control the
speed. Release the accelerator pedal to stop
the machine.

6.

Use the brake pedal if necessary.
