Symbols on the pushbuttons identify parts and systems.

Example:

The colour of the light in the pushbutton identifies the status:

Symbol for the
spray pump.

The light is off: the pump cannot be switched on.

The light is white: the pump can be switched on.

The light is green: the pump is running.
