Hydraulic system:
WARNING
•
Release the pressure in the hydraulic system before you do any
maintenance.
•
High pressure oil easily punctures skin which could result in death or
serious injury. Do not use your fingers to find a leak: use a piece of
cardboard. Gloves do not provide protection. Immediately get medical
aid if injured.
Electrical system:
WARNING
Disconnect the negative battery cable before you do any work on the electrical system.
In case of an EU stage V engine:
1.
Turn the engine off and take the ignition key with you.
2.
Wait 10 minutes. While you wait:
•
Data is stored in the engine control unit.
•
The AdBlue is circulated to cool the AdBlue injector.
•
The AdBlue lines are emptied to prevent frost damage.
3.
Disconnect the negative (–) battery cable.
NOTICE If you disconnect the negative battery cable too soon, a system error
will occur and the engine will no longer start. In this case, you need a
service engineer of the engine manufacturer to reset the system.
In case of an uncertified engine
(optional for Australia)
:
1.
Turn the engine off and take the ignition key with you.
2.
Wait 2 minutes.
While you wait, data is stored in the engine control unit.
3.
Disconnect the negative (–) battery cable.
NOTICE If you disconnect the negative battery cable too soon, a system error
will occur and the engine will no longer start. In this case, you need a
service engineer of the engine manufacturer to reset the system.
