Turn the engine off.
•
Remove the ignition key.
•
Take the ignition key with you.

Label near the SSP alternator (option).
WARNING
A tool between alternator and chassis can quickly become
hot and cause serious burns.
Before you disconnect alternator cables:
•
Turn the engine off.
•
Remove the ignition key.
•
Wait 2 or 10 minutes: refer to the label on the battery.
•
Disconnect the (–) battery cable from the main batteries.
•
Disconnect the (+) battery cable from the SSP batteries.

WARNING
High pressure oil easily punctures skin which could result in
death or serious injury.
Do not use your fingers to find a leak: use a piece of card-
board. Gloves do not provide protection. Immediately get
medical aid if injured.

Pressure accumulator contains high pressure gas and oil.
Leave any maintenance to a specialist.
Do not weld near a pressure accumulator.
Do not release the pressure by loosening a fitting.
