6.36 Spray tank
WARNING
Toxic chemicals.
Breathing the vapours in the spray tank can cause dizziness, loss of con-
sciousness, death or serious injury.
Before you go into the spray tank:
1. Drain the contents.
2. Rinse the inside with clean water.
3. Drain the water.
4. Open the tank lid.
5. Wait 4 hours to let the vapours escape.
6. Use a respirator, appropriate for the latest spray product used.
7. Let an assistant near the spray tank monitor your condition.
6.37 Spray flowmeter
Cleaning the impeller:
1. Turn the engine off and take the ignition key
with you.
2. Take the pressure off the system.
3. Use safety goggles and gloves.
4. Remove the sensor [1].
5. Check that the impeller [2] turns smoothly.
6. Remove the impeller if it does not turn
smoothly.
7. Put the impeller in a cleaning liquid for 1
hour. Do not use solvents.
8. Rinse the impeller with clean water.
9. Check that the impeller turns smoothly.
10. Replace the impeller if necessary.
11. Reassemble all parts.
Replacing the O-rings:
1. Remove the fork [1].
2. Remove the sensor holder [2].
3. Replace the O-rings [3].
