Backing up config to the SD card
After pressing "Select", the configuration file is written to the SD card. During this period, "
Writing file
"
appears on the display
Loading config from SD card
Once you have selected the desired configuration file and pressed "Select", the configuration file is
loaded from the SD card to the alarm panel. During this period, "
Reading file
" appears on the display
Note
The alarm panel creates a new folder on the SD card with the name "Config". All of the configuration files are written to
this folder. Each new file is given a new file name. No old files are overwritten.
The alarm panel creates a file name that includes the Secvest, date and time.
Example:
Secvest--01-09-2017-1051.cfg
01-09-2017: Date
1051: Time, 10:51 a.m.
Note
You can also copy saved configuration files from the PC (via WEB) to the SD card. Copy the configuration files to the
"Config" folder. If the alarm panel has not yet created the "Config" folder, you can create it manually.
Please note the following:
Sometimes, the configuration file is not saved in the format
Secvest--01-09-2017-1051.cfg
.
If it has not been possible for the PC or web browser to perform the sent instructions for changing the file name, they
will be saved in the standard version "config.config".
Simply change the file name "config.config" to the following format
Secvest--01-09-2017-1051.cfg
When doing so, it is important that:
The file ending MUST be ".cfg"
The file name must start with Secvest and two dashes or minus signs "
Secvest
—
"
File names that do not follow this syntax will not be displayed in the "Loading config from SD card" menu in the alarm
panel.
E.g. "config.config" or "Secvest--01-12-2017-1102.config"
