The tripwire will now tally separate counts for both configured directions. To display counts for each
direction on-screen, a VCA counter must be configured. To configure a counter for use with your
counting line/tripwire:

Right-click within the viewing area and select
Counter>Add Counter

Place the counter overlay in the desired position.

Assign a
Name
and
Color

Configure the counter’s
Increment
rule

Check off
Inc 0.

Set the
Inc 0
value to the desired trip wire/counting line. In the above example,
Inc 0
is set
to increment whenever
Counting Wire 1

is triggered.

Repeat Steps 7-12 to create a separate counter for
Counting Wire 1 – Out

Click
Apply
to save the new counter settings.
