General Tab:
Chassis Status
– This panel provides information on the MCD chassis
and includes temperature, power supply output, and the performance
of the cooling fans. Note that this panel is only visible for MCD-I
components, as the NMS does not currently retrieve hardware status of
the ArcLight Blade System (ABS) chassis.
Chassis Temperature (C)
– this field displays the temperature of the
MCD chassis in degrees centigrade.
Power Supply States
– The simulated LEDs indicate the operational
status of the three power supplies in the MCD. Green indicates power is
being supplied at a nominal level, while Red indicates a power supply
failure.
3.3V PS Output
– this field displays the current output voltage of the
3.3V power supply.
5.0V PS Output
– this field displays the current output voltage of the
5V power supply.
+12V PS Output
- this field displays the current output of the +12V
power supply.
-12V PS Output
- this field displays the current output of the -12V
power supply.
Blower RPMs
– There are two blowers located in the chassis of the
MCD. These two fields display the current revolutions per minute of
each of these blowers.
Fan RPMs
- There are three fans located in the chassis of the MCD.
These three fields display the current revolutions per minute of each of
these fans.
Traffic Status & Statistics
– This panel provides traffic status and
statistics for MCD interfaces. If the equipment configuration is for a
MCD-1 the interface columns are listed as fei0 and fei1. If the
equipment configuration is for a MCD-II the interface columns include
any configured physical (gei0, gei1, gei2, and gei4) and virtual
interfaces.
Administrative State
– the fields in each of the four columns indicate
the commanded state of each interface, up or down. If the interface is
not present the column is grayed out.
Operating State
- the fields in each of the four columns indicate the
actual state of each interface, up or down. If the interface is not present
the column is grayed out.
Tx IP Packets
- the fields in each of the four columns display the
number of IP packets transmitted. If the interface is not present the
column is grayed out.
Rx IP Packets
- the fields in each of the four columns display the
number of IP packets received. If the interface is not present the
column is grayed out.
