Chips per Symbol:

This field displays the number of PN code chips per

FEC encoded symbol used for the current access type.

Chipping Rate:

This field displays the chipping rate.

Power Control Enable:

Click this check box to enable power control.

MCD IF Frequency (kHz):

This editable field displays the MCD IF

frequency.

Uplink Frequency (MHz):

This editable field displays the uplink

frequency.

PN Code panel:

Name:

Select the PN Code name from the pulldown menu

Preamble:

Displays the 32-bit preamble sequence used for CRMA PN

code definition.

Long PN Tap:

This is the code used to define the PN sequence.

Long PN SR:

This is the seed used by the long shift register to define

the PN sequence.

Short PN Tap:

This is the code used to define the PN sequence.

Short PN SR:

This is the seed for the short shift register that is used to

define the PN sequence.

Click

New

to create a new PN Code Type. Click

Edit

to edit an existing

PN Code Type.

OK button

– is used to load new information into the database, activate

the new information, close the window and return to the Log Manager

window.

Cancel button

– is used to discard the information entered on the

Logging Configuration screen, revert to the database information at the

start of the editing session, close the Logging Configuration screen, and
revert to the Log Manager window.
