Profile Type:

Click radio button for appropriate profile: DSSS or

DVBS2

Symbol Rate (Msps):

This value is the modulated symbol rate sent on

the link. It has a range of 0.10 to 53.99 MSPS.

Roll-off:

Select roll-off type from pull down menu. The roll-off factor

can be 0.35, 0.25, or 0.20 as defined by ETSI EN 302 307 v1.1.1 (2004-
01).

ACM/VCM Mode:

Click on On or Off radio button to activate

ACM/VCM mode.

Clock Reference:

Select clock reference from pull down menu. This

selection determines whether the External Reference input, the internal

reference clock, or the ASI receive clock is used as the reference for
generating output symbol rate.

Ref. Output Level (dBm):

This is the transmitted output level in dBm.

It has a valid range of 0dBm to –31.5dBm in 0.5 dB steps.

Pilot Tones Enabled:

Click check box to enable pilot tones. This is

used for pilot or non-pilot mode. If it is enabled, then there are pilot
tones inserted in the frame. If it is disabled (check box unchecked)
then no pilot tones are inserted.

This area is used to select code rates from the

pull down menu. Available code rates are shown in the table below:

screen in the hierarchy. The next time the screen is opened the values
that existed before the current editing session will appear. The Cancel

button will not undo use of the OK or Apply buttons.
