3.3.12 Manage Power Control Profiles

Selecting “Manage Power Control Profiles” opens the Power Control
Profile screen, which is presented and described below:

Figure 3-55. Manage Power Control Profile Screen.

The Power Control Profile screen is used to configure network power
control parameters. The following information must be specified:

Name:

This field displays the name of the Power Control Profile

Enable (check box):

This checkbox enables/disables the network

power control.

min

(msec):

This field is the minimum time period between amplitude

adjustments to a VMT.

min

(Msps):

This field specifies the number of bursts in the observation

interval.

Adj. Thres. (dB):

This field specifies adjustment threshold level for the

network.

The resolution is 0.1 dB

The allowed range is from 1 to 30 (0.1 to 3.0 dB)

The recommended value is 5 (0.5 dB)

Loop Gain:

This field specifies the loop gain.

The resolution is 0.01 dB

The allowed range is from to 10 to 75 (0.1 to 0.75 dB)

The recommended value is 25 (0.25 dB)
