Congestion Control Group Name:
Displays the Congestion Control
Group Name.
Enable Congestion Control:
This checkbox enables/disables
congestion control on a per congestion control group basis.
CT Fix (%):
This field is used as a congestion threshold override, to
designate the percentage of packets that are allowed to go through for
VMTs in a designated congestion control group when the congestion
control for the group is disabled. If 100 then all users on this control
group are free for full throughput. If 0 then all users on this channel
are muted. Only valid when congestion control is disabled.
The allowed range is from 0 to 100. The units are %.
K-loop:
This field specifies the RTNMS’s Loop gain for setting the
congestion control adjustment value as defined by:
AV(n) = (K
loop
+ AV(n-1))/( K
loop
+1)
(Ex. K
loop
= 3, the AV goes up at ¼ the expected rate).
Excursion (x 0.01):
This field represents the Minimum excursion from
the Desired Access Level (DAL) that requires a loop adjustment. This is
expressed as 0.01 units (dimensionless). The default setting is 2.
Reference M:
This field is a number of simultaneous reference
accesses NOT to be exceeded. It is obtained from the Network Design
Document [1].
Reference K (chips/symbol):
This field is a spreading factor of the
reference access type. It is obtained from the Network Design Document
[1].
Reference Rb (kbps):
This field selects the information rate of the
reference access type. It is obtained from the Network Design Document
[1].
Exceedance (%):
This field is a desired maximum probability of
exceeding “M.”
