Authority Level Configuration Screen – Permissions Tab:
To display the Authority Level Configuration Permissions tab screen,
click on the Permissions tab. The permissions tab has four panels:
Network; VMT, Customer, VMT Group; User; and Logging .
The default setting for all new authority levels is read-only.
Network panel – these permissions concern network elements
Read – when checked, grants authority to read network element status,
command, and control fields.
Write – when checked, grants authority to write to editable fields for
network elements.
Add and Delete – when checked, grants authority to add or delete
network elements.
VMT, Customer, VMT Group panel – These permissions concern
customers and VMTs
Read – when checked, grants authority to read VMT status and
parameters, customer information, and - when available - VMT Group
information.
