equivalent to the OK button in dialogs

equivalent to the Cancel button
Tab
switches between entry fields within dialog boxes
Arrows
selects an item within list boxes
Alt (F10)
accelerator keys (underlined menu bar item characters) –
by hitting it, a corresponding menu list is expanded directly;
another accelerator key can subsequently be selected
Alt + Tab
switches between running applications:
each time the Tab key is hit while holding the Alt key a pointer
jumps to another application icon. Releasing the Alt key at any time
makes the application just listed become focused
Alt + F4
closes focused the application or the Windows operating system
Del(ete)
deletes a selection, texts or graphics
Ctrl + A
selects all items, texts or graphics within a focused window
Ctrl + C
copies a selection to the clipboard – temporary memory
Ctrl + V
pastes the contents of the clipboard
text: at the pointer position
graphics: to a active window
Ctrl + X
cuts a selection to the clipboard – copies and deletes it
