Power door lock operation for vehicle without dead lock system
4) Connect negative (–) cable at battery.
5) Check that the voltage and resistance between the following terminals and body ground are specifications under
each conditions.
If check result is OK, replace door lock controller. If check result is not as specified, repair circuit.

Circuit Terminal Wire Specification Condition
Power door lock switch
circuit L82-5 BLU/BLK Continuity Power door lock switch is LOCK position.
No continuity Power door lock switch is free.
Main power supply L82-9 WHT/GRN 10 – 14 V —
Ignition switch circuit L82-12 RED/BLK 10 – 14 V Ignition switch is ON position.
0 – 1 V Ignition switch is OFF position.
Driver side key cylinder
circuit (UNLOCK signal) L82-13 BRN Continuity Driver side key cylinder is UNLOCK side.
No continuity Except the above-mentioned condition.
Driver side key cylinder
circuit (LOCK signal) L82-14 BRN/WHT Continuity Driver side key cylinder is LOCK side.
No continuity Except the above-mentioned condition.
Power door lock switch
circuit (UNLOCK signal) L82-16 BLU/RED Continuity Power door lock switch is UNLOCK position.
No continuity Power door lock switch is free.
Ground L82-17 BLK 0 – 1 V —
